DRINKING WATER PROVIDED BY SAVE THE INNOCENTS.
SaTIn has installed Two wells and five hand pumps for the villagers to provide safe drinking water which was unavailable before. These are working properly.
The villagers appreciate the provision of clean drinking water and understand how important it is for good health. The women have more time for their other work, as they no longer spend a large part of each day walking long distances to collect water. The villagers look after the hand pumps themselves with a sense of resposibility and ownership.
